Danielle Williams

RAD RTS

OWNER/PRINCIPAL

Danielle was trained in Sydney by Rosalie Lane, Tanya Pearson and John Byrne. At 16 she was given a scholarship by Gailene Stock to study at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne where she successfully auditioned for a place in the Australian Ballet School. The careful and nurturing training her studio provides has seen many talented students successfully audition for renowned schools and companies both here and abroad. Danielle is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance gaining Distinction on graduating.

Anna Veretennikova

ARAD SOLO SEAL

Classical Ballet

Anna trained with Valeria Hansen in Rockhampton before undertaking full time classical studies with Scully Borovansky – Messrs Nellie Potts and Kathleen Danetree [Sydney] achieving her RAD Solo Seal. After receiving a scholarship, she moved overseas to commence training with the Centre de Danse Internationale de Rosella Hightower [Cannes]; undertook classes with Marika Bessobrasova, [Monte Carlo] and Raymond Franchetti and Gibert Mayer [Paris Opera]; Carolyn Carlson and Matt Mattox [Contemporary and Jazz studies Paris] In 2003 Anna was appointed a Grades Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance [RAD] and currently holds the status of RAD Tutor for both Teacher and Student Courses.

Lillian Richmond

ARAD 

Character.

Lillian trained with Danielle's Studio of Dance from the age of 12, completing all her RAD & CDA examinations with High Distinctions. She enjoyed performing on stage through youth ballet companies and competitions and, at 16, was awarded the JJ Richards Ballet Scholarship. Lillian was also awarded short-term training opportunities to train with prestigious ballet schools across Europe. broadening her exposure to different teaching styles and approaches to classical technique. She is now eager to continue her involvement and love of dance through teaching and mentoring young dancers.

Judith Chayko-Kingston

ARAD

Classical Ballet

Judy started ballet at the age of 8 in her home town of Coffs Harbour. At 15 she moved to Newcastle to study full-time with Tessa Maunder. Judy won the McDonalds Ballet Scholarship (formerly the Stuyvesant Ballet Scholarship) in 1978, successfully auditioning for The Royal Ballet School in London. Judy trained at the RBS for 2 years and was the only student in her first year class to be offered a second year. In that time she was awarded a Queen Jubilee Trust Scholarship to further her studies. Judy is a RAD registered teacher and ran a successful Dance Studio of her own in Coffs harbour for 10 years.

Christine Wilkinson

RAD RTS

Classical Ballet

Christine trained at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence before completing 3 years at the Australian Ballet School. During this time she trained under the guidance of many esteemed teachers such as Dame Margaret Scott DBE, AC, Kelvin Coe OBE, Marilyn Rowe AM OBE, Gailene Stock CBE AM, Gary Norman, Ai-Gul Gaisina, Timothy Gordon, Margaret Wilson and Christine Howard. Upon graduating, Christine travelled to the UK and Europe and secured a contract performing throughout Europe with Vienna Ballet Theatre’s winter season of Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty. Christine is a fully registered RAD teacher and successfully operated her own school in Tweed Heads for 15 years before joining the DSD faculty.

Anne Gray

ARAD RAD RTS

Classical Ballet

Anne is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance, gaining her Advanced 2 and awarded the RAD Teachers Diploma with Distinction. Anne was an Adeline Genee Finalist, before training at the Joffrey Ballet School in Chicago and the Princess Grace Academy in Monaco. Anne also starred in the ballet film, Harlequin. Anne was the owner of North Shore Dance Academy, one of Sydney’s leading ballet and dance schools for 30 years. With her dedication and commitment directing and teaching she nurtured many students to successful careers in the Australian Ballet, Queensland Ballet, and dance companies throughout the world.

Naomi Leader

Lyrical & Musical Theatre

Naomi Leader is a charismatic Greek/Australian, triple threat, pocket rocket performer with a big/bold personality. Her recent accomplishments include; being a singer/dancer at Universal Studios Singapore, a show host for Millennium Entertainment, and an ensemble member in Packemin Productions, Wicked. She was a backup dancer for Vanessa Amorosi and Eric Bellinger, starred in the Foxtel/ Netflix series Secret City, and has been the lead singer for several corporate rock bands. In 2022, Naomi worked as a core dancer for Dancing CEOs, played the role of Killer Queen in We Will Rock You, was a cast member in Spotlight Theatre’s Little Shop of Horrors and understudied the role of Liza Minelli in the Drew Anthony production, The Boy From Oz. She is currently playing the role of Ash in the show Sing on Tour at Universal Studios Japan and has written, produced and choreographed her own Jazz jukebox musical, 'Memories in a Book' that will be showcased at AMHall in Osaka in 2025.

Scarlett Atkins

ARAD SOLO SEAL CBTS

Body Conditioning, Contemporary
 & Classical Ballet

Scarlett trained at Ransley Ballet and Dance before moving to New York after winning a YAGP scholarship to study at Joffrey. On returning to Australia, she commenced training at Danielle’s Studio of Dance and was awarded the Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal Award in 2016. In 2017 she was accepted into Sydney Dance Company’s Pre- Professional Year, where she developed her skills as a contemporary dancer and choreographer. She is also a fully registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Jordan Woods

 Jazz

Jordan Woods is an experienced dance educator with over 10 years of industry experience. She has performed internationally with The Walt Disney Company, including productions for Disney Cruise Line and Euro Disney, as well as a wide range of live performance events. A qualified teacher, Jordan holds a Certificate IV and Diploma in Dance, comprehensive Pilates certification, and a Bachelor of Creative Industries. Passionate about fostering sustainable technique and artistic excellence, Jordan strives to create a positive and inspiring environment that supports long-term development and encourages students to become confident, curious, and lifelong learners in both dance and life.
