Danielle Williams



Danielle was trained in Sydney by Rosalie Lane, Tanya Pearson and John Byrne. At 16 she was given a scholarship by Gailene Stock to study at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne where she successfully auditioned for a place in the Australian Ballet School. The careful and nurturing training her studio provides has seen many talented students successfully audition for renowned schools and companies both here and abroad. Danielle is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance gaining Distinction on graduating.

Natalia Johnson


Classical Ballet

Natalia’s early training was with her Mum’s ballet school before studying with Prue Bowen, Kit Lethby, Jane Allyn and Ashley Killar. She has successfully completed all her Royal Academy of Dance exams, a Bachelor of Health Science and is a fully registered RAD teacher gaining her certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. Natalia owned her own studio for 3 years in Sydney before moving to the GC.

Anna Veretennikova


Classical Ballet

Anna trained with Valeria Hansen in Rockhampton before undertaking full time classical studies with Scully Borovansky – Messrs Nellie Potts and Kathleen Danetree [Sydney] achieving her RAD Solo Seal. After receiving a scholarship, she moved overseas to commence training with the Centre de Danse Internationale de Rosella Hightower [Cannes]; undertook classes with Marika Bessobrasova, [Monte Carlo] and Raymond Franchetti and Gibert Mayer [Paris Opera]; Carolyn Carlson and Matt Mattox [Contemporary and Jazz studies Paris] In 2003 Anna was appointed a Grades Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance [RAD] and currently holds the status of RAD Tutor for both Teacher and Student Courses.

Tia Stammer

Character & Body Conditioning.

Tia danced at Danielle’s Studio of Dance from the age of four completing all her RAD and CDA exams with Distinction & Honours. Her passion was nourished by the faculty and she continued her dancing journey through to full-time training. In 2019 she successfully auditioned to study at the New Zealand School of Dance. Here she expanded her knowledge in classical ballet, contemporary and character repertoire. Tia also completed her RAD Advanced II at NZSD. Since graduating in 2021 with a Certificate in Dance Performance Tia moved back to the Gold Coast. She is eager to nourish the passion of the next generation of young dancers

Judith Chayko-Kingston


Classical Ballet

Judy started ballet at the age of 8 in her home town of Coffs Harbour. At 15 she moved to Newcastle to study full-time with Tessa Maunder. Judy won the McDonalds Ballet Scholarship (formerly the Stuyvesant Ballet Scholarship) in 1978, successfully auditioning for The Royal Ballet School in London. Judy trained at the RBS for 2 years and was the only student in her first year class to be offered a second year. In that time she was awarded a Queen Jubilee Trust Scholarship to further her studies. Judy is a RAD registered teacher and ran a successful Dance Studio of her own in Coffs harbour for 10 years.

Christine Wilkinson


Classical Ballet

Christine trained at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence before completing 3 years at the Australian Ballet School. During this time she trained under the guidance of many esteemed teachers such as Dame Margaret Scott DBE, AC, Kelvin Coe OBE, Marilyn Rowe AM OBE, Gailene Stock CBE AM, Gary Norman, Ai-Gul Gaisina, Timothy Gordon, Margaret Wilson and Christine Howard. Upon graduating, Christine travelled to the UK and Europe and secured a contract performing throughout Europe with Vienna Ballet Theatre’s winter season of Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty. Christine is a fully registered RAD teacher and successfully operated her own school in Tweed Heads for 15 years before joining the DSD faculty.

Anne Gray


Classical Ballet

Anne is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance, gaining her Advanced 2 and awarded the RAD Teachers Diploma with Distinction. Anne was an Adeline Genee Finalist, before training at the Joffrey Ballet School in Chicago and the Princess Grace Academy in Monaco. Anne also starred in the ballet film, Harlequin. Anne was the owner of North Shore Dance Academy, one of Sydney’s leading ballet and dance schools for 30 years. With her dedication and commitment directing and teaching she nurtured many students to successful careers in the Australian Ballet, Queensland Ballet, and dance companies throughout the world.

Courtney Quin

Lyrical & Musical Theatre

Courtney successfully completed all her RAD Ballet Exams, as well as performing in countless pantomimes such as Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella and Peter Pan, before going on to studying at ED5 International and graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. Courtney’s credits include; 2020 Mardi Gras Parade, The 2018 Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, 2019 Save our Sons Gala Ball, Dance Captain in Carols in the Domain 2020 and 2022, the 2020 Arnott’s Foundation Gala Ball, Lets Misbehave Cabaret Show and Packemin Productions Mamma Mia the Musical.

Scarlett Atkins


Scarlett trained at Ransley Ballet and Dance before moving to New York after winning a YAGP scholarship to study at Joffrey. On returning to Australia, she commenced training at Danielle’s Studio of Dance and was awarded the Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal Award in 2016. In 2017 she was accepted into Sydney Dance Company’s Pre- Professional Year, where she developed her skills as a contemporary dancer and choreographer. She is currently studying for her teacher’s certificate with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Caitlin Miller


Caitlin began dancing almost as soon as she could walk. Throughout her younger years she trained in all styles of dance and completed her RAD exams Primary – Advanced 2. While still in school she completed part time training at Dance Force, obtaining her Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching. Since then Caitlin has become a very accomplished educator sharing her passion for dance through teaching.

Jack Hersee

Classical Ballet

Jack trained at The Australian Ballet School from age 14.  Upon graduation, he was offered a contract with The Australian Ballet where he danced for five years, travelling all over Australia as well as Japan, New York and Canada.  Since retiring from the stage, Jack has been teaching ballet and Pilates.  With ten years teaching experience, his passion for passing on his knowledge to eager students continues to grow.
